Player Health
A resolution has been found for the player to die and restart the level by creating a event destroyed, then connecting to open level. However, this is only done by decreasing the players health by pressing ctrl and not through contact from the AI.
Another change in level came with the AI bot. It was found my opening up another level in third person and transferring the third person character files out into the current level files, options became available for the AI bots mesh to be replaced with a third person mesh, along with third person animations, replacing the previous AI body mesh in a T-pose and floating gun.
The AI now is more realistic in its movements from previously. Another change since this new AI mesh was imported into the level, is that the AI is now being destroyed, however, the AI is destroying itself on impact with the player rather than being destroyed from players gun shots.
To try and resolve this final caveat another tutorial video was watched. https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=9&v=7JpHINDSmU4, (Titanic Games, 2016). More events and variables were added to the events graphs in both the first person character (player) and the AI bots, to try and resolve the current problem of the AI destroying itself on contact with the player and not being destroyed by the players gunshots and for the player to take damage on contact from the AI. Furthermore if the AI had done enough damage to the player, the player would die and re-start the level and when the AI would die, it would re-spawn again.
Another change was to make the fog in the level more denser by selecting volumetric fog, which made the fog denser, to give me realism to the level.
After experimenting with the fog, the original setting without the volumetric fog was unticked as the setting was too dense for the level. Further problems continued with the rain particles. Although the rain is in the level, it now for unknown reasons not showing during game play. With the deadline looming, no further time is available to try and correct these caveats.
